Gaia's Temple Board of Directors

Gaia's Temple Board of Directors is currently comprised of six dynamic and diverse individuals who bring a wide spectrum of experience into the leadership of this non-profit organization (501(c)(3) status).

Although we come from different backgrounds, our common thread is our love of the Divine Feminine and the desire to manifest and care for a place that She can call home.

Rev. Corinna Frenzl
Rev. Corinna Frenzl, President

Rev. Corinna Frenzl first heard the call of the Goddess in her early 20’s when she re-rooted herself in nature. After practicing as a solitary for over 10 years, she has now fully embraced community rituals having participated and served in leadership since joining Gaia’s Temple in 2007. She joined the Board of Directors in 2016 grounding herself firmly in the spiritual community she loves and cherishes. Corinna became ordained as a Spiritual Healers and Earth Stewards Minister in the Autumn of 2017, and is excited to begin this next step in service for the Divine Feminine. Corinna deeply appreciates the mentorship she has received from Sally King, EagleSong, Lauren Herold, and Rev. Judith Laxer for inspiring her to continue to spiral deeper through the Wheel of the Year.

Dr. Tema Gochberg, Vice President

A transplant to the Pacific Northwest from Tennessee, Tema (rhymes with Emma) has been an active member of her spiritual communities since being initiated as a Wiccan priestess in 2008.  Whether participating as a ritualist for community sabbats, hosting multi-national community rituals, providing newer members of the Pagan community with resources, or in raising her child, she endeavors to bring the Sacred into daily life.

She loves to fill her home with plants, love, and gentleness. When inspiration strikes, Tema also loves to paint, write, and craft with natural materials.  With extra time at home due to the pandemic, she has delighted in learning to bake gluten-free bread, make homemade kimchi, and alter her own clothes.

Tema is a practicing Naturopathic physician in the Seattle area, bringing healing and joy to the lives of her patients through deep connection and holistic approaches to their concerns. www.intunehealingarts.com

Christine Steele, Secretary

Christine is a retired RN after 40 years of practice and loves the freedom! She keeps busy crafting with wood projects, macrame, and gardening. And she keeps lazy with games and following friends on Facebook. Christine joined Gaia’s Temple back in 2016 after searching for a Divine Feminine spiritual community. Participating in and occasionally being a ritualist during the Wheel of the Year Sabbats Celebrations has only made her feel more at home in the Gaia’s Temple congregation. Christine is happy for this opportunity to join the Gaia’s Temple Board, which fulfills her inner need to be useful.

Rev. Judith Laxer
Rev. Judith Laxer, Founder

Rev. Judith is the founding Priestess of Gaia’s Temple, which she considers to be her life’s greatest work. Twenty years later, and perhaps now more than ever, Judith still feels called to uplift the Divine Feminine to Her rightful place in spiritual practice and worship. Her soul has found home in Gaia’s Temple.

Judith was Ordained as a SHES (Spiritual Healers and Earth Stewards) Minister on the Summer Solstice in 1992. Since then, she has officiated at countless rite of passage ceremonies, taught classes and workshops on the Goddess, Women’s Mysteries, and psychic development internationally, and was the Ceremonial Director for the Seattle based Women of Wisdom Conference for seven years.

A keynote speaker and guest minister at Interfaith Community Sanctuary, Amazing Grace Spiritual Center, Prospect United Church of Christ, Seattle Unity Church, Unity of Everett, Bellevue UU Church, and the Evergreen UU Fellowship, Judith enjoys her successful private practice of Spiritual Counseling, Psychic Tarot readings, Certified Hypnotherapy, Reiki and Shamanic practices. Her collection of short stories Along the Wheel of Time: Sacred Stories for Nature Lovers was published in June 2014.
